Goods and title remain the property of Mirrors and More / Lovatt Antiques (Scotland) Ltd. until full and final cleared settlement has been received.

Returns: All returns must be notified by email within 7 days of receipt of item(s) stating reason for return. Email acknowledgement of return(s) must be received from Mirrors and More / Lovatt Antiques (Scotland) Ltd. PRIOR to return of item(s).

Carriage/delivery cost for returns will be at the buyer’s expense. All item(s) must be returned in original packaging.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

In the event that a purchase is made in person at the same time a purchase of the same item is made online the priority will always lie with the shop “in person” purchase. This has to be outlined in case of this event ever occurring, although please be assured that every effort is made to ensure this does not happen.

Unfortunately we currently do not accept Visa and MasterCard on line. We do not require payment for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may make a card payment via phone.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. Once we indicate acceptance of your order we will send you a sales invoice. A sales contract will then exist between us. We have included this term to protect us in the event of us being unable to complete the sale due to matters outwith our direct control. ie; item out of stock, price fluctuations, 3rd party issues etc.

In the event of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Schedule

We will normally send your order to you within 7 business days if the item is in stock. International orders are generally dispatched in under 14 days depending on the country. We will confirm dispatch by email.

You must inform us by email if the goods are lost or damaged in transit. This will enable us to remedy any issues expediently. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received on your behalf.


Charges: For orders within the UK or the European Union 20% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT exempt.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, we use the Paypal Payment Gateway to ensure that all transactions are 100% safe.  We hold none of your credit/debit card details as these are all processed by Paypal.


We want you to be delighted with your purchase.

If you are in any way dissatisfied with your purchase you can return your order within 7 working days in original packaging.

We recommend that for your own protection you use a Signed For service and ask that you include a covering letter outlining you reasons for your dissatisfaction. If you are returning items due to damage in transit or a mistake on our part we will refund your total costs including the return postage.

For customers within the E.U. only if your reason for return is because you have changed your mind we will accept the items back but we will NOT refund the costs you incur for the return postage. In all cases items must be returned in the condition in which they were received and in their original packaging and unopened. If an item appears to be opened and out of its original packaging no refund will be given.


You can of course cancel your order at any time during the ordering process up until your payment has been accepted. Once payment has been accepted the order will be deemed to be a binding contract and the terms for return listed above will need to be adhered to. We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy Selling Directive

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition as previously mentioned. Items will not be accepted if they are opened or out of their original packaging.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
